working on a new project right now-- still in the works, so we'll see how it goes. i had a crazy dream the other night that mars had been turned into a theme park and you could ride down a man-made river in an inner tube over to the next planet. it was really intense.

I ran into a man named Thax Douglas the other day at Birdhouse, a poet who has made his way to Austin from Chicago via a 24 hour train ride. I had seen him before at Red 7 a couple weeks ago, doing a reading on stage for the band Zorch. Thax has read for MANY bands--ranging from local bands like Zorch to bands as established as Animal Collective, the Flaming Lips and Os Mutantes. He writes poems for bands the night of, on the spot. And let me tell you, they are kind of amazing...
